How to test the Gaming Integrity of your system (graphics card)

All our systems are tested using several different benchmarking and stress testing programs.

One of these programs is 3DMark11 Benchmark.

You can download the Basic Version (Free) via STEAM or from here: 3DMark11

Just click on the RUN 3DMARK 11 button.

Run this program (WITHOUT any extra USB items like flash drives and external hard rives, joysticks, headphones etc)

This program pushes your system to the maximum, testing the motherboard, ram, cpu and graphics card.

If this test runs OK and does not report a problem then it is unlikely you have a hardware issue.

If you find that the freezing issue happens during a particular program or game, simply Google it. For example; MINECRAFT CRASHING or Battlefield 3 Crashing/freezing/bluescreen (these sorts of problems are common)
You will find millions of results for these particular searches. Among these results you should also find ways that could resolve these issues, like patch updates etc.

USB ITEMS Even though they may work on your old system/laptop, these can and often create many different issues on your computer.
It is not unusaul for a USB item to freeze your computer.

Plugging in a keyboard & mouse into a Blue USB port (USB 3.0) can also cause issues.

Flash drives, External Hard Drives, USB Phone chargers, Headphones, Speakers and so on, all can cause instability issues on your computer. If experiencing problems, Unplug all these items to see if this resolves the issue.

A faulty stick of RAM can cause freezing while in Windows. Test your RAM click here and click here

It is extremely rare for more than one stick at a time to be faulty.

The other reason and the cause for 99% of freezing (and/or Bluescreens) while in Windows is Software.

The first thing to do is to reinstall Windows, deleting all partitions and installing a fresh copy of Windows onto the hard drive. This will eliminate software conflicts, trojans etc. Don't forget to install the motherboard drivers and graphics card drivers after installing Windows.

Another cause of freezing is changing the settings in the BIOS (CMOS)

Changing the CPU frequency & multipliers beyond the CPU and motherboard specifications can and will in fact create these problems. Systems that are found with this, will be deemd out of warranty immediately. Please be aware that, We & NWS, DO NOT warrant software and cannot gurantee that the computer will run each and every piece of software flawlessly.
