The vast majority of our computer systems are shipped via Courier. At times the workshop deem it necessary to use hot glue to fasten certain componnents like plastic hard disk drive trays and even the hard disk connections themselves.
Hot Glue is a temporary glue (depending on the surface it is applied to) and can usually be peeled away quite easily. The longer it has been there the harder it usually becomes and the easier it is to remove. Surfaces such as wood are almost imposiible to remove hot glue from, but not anymore...
There is however a much easier way to remove Hot Glue....
Take a cotton bud and dip it into some Isopropyl Alcohol (Rubbing Alcohol), apply this to the edges of the hot glue. Wait a few moments and the hot glue is easily removed without a problem. Click on the below link for a Youtube Video on how to remove Hot Glue....
