ADOBE Software - System Requirements

System Requirements for Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Lightroom

We recommend a GT710 or above for Photoshop/Lightroom and for Premier Pro we recommend a GTX950 and above.

Does Photoshop need more RAM or faster graphics? Click Here

Adobe Premiere Pro - System Requirements

Adobe, like most other software developers, has a list of system requirements for Premiere Pro. However, most of these system requirements tend to cover only the very basics of what hardware is needed to run the software at a very basic level and not what hardware is required to give the best performance. Hardware considerations for Premiere Pro: Processor (CPU) • Video/Graphics Card (GPU) • System Memory (RAM) • Storage (SSD & Hard Drives). Click here for full article.

Powered by 6th & 7th Gen Intel Core i5/i7 Processor

Get top-of-the-line performance for your most demanding tasks with either the 6th or 7th generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor. For a difference you can see and feel in HD and 3D, multitasking and multimedia, the Intel Core i5/i7 processor is perfect for all your most demanding tasks.

DDR4 RAM (Memory) - Performance

Contrary to popular belief RAM (memory) does not actually speed up a computer. RAM however, allows you to keep more and larger files open at the same time. The more RAM you have on a system the larger the installation will be. Windows7/8/10 normal install with 4Gig of RAM is about 28Gig, 8Gig of RAM 32Gigs, 16Gig of RAM 40Gig, 32Gig of RAM 54Gig, while if you go to 64gigs of RAM, Windows installation may exceed 100gigs. These numbers grow even more as you do windows updates.

SSD's (Solid State Drives)

Solid-State Drives (SSD) outperform normal hard drives by up to 4 times faster. Combining an SSD drive along with a traditional Hard Drive gives you the perfect balance between speed and storage. The SSD delivers faster boot and application load times, while the SATA Hard Drive provides you with plenty of storage space. Small capacity SSD's, can fill up very quickly, make certain you have a 2nd hard drive for extra storage.
